Two methods to set up a new Raspberry Pi for the complete noobs.

There are many good tutorials and write ups on setting up your Raspberry Pi.  If you search for it on YouTube or Google it, you will find plenty to choose from.

Do take note that I use Raspbian Buster Full Desktop version for my Raspberry Pi 4 build.  I have it installed on a 128Gb microsd, I recommend 128GB microsd as the minimum if you are going to store offline wikipedia on it, and you can add additional storage via USB thumdrive, hard drive, etc.

Here are 2 methods to set up the Raspberry Pi:

1.  This is a good tutorial on YouTube for setting up your new Raspberry Pi the conventional way for noobs. You need to connect your Raspberry pi to a display, keyboard and mouse.

2.  If you want to set up your new Raspberry Pi without connecting it to a keyboard or display, then you have to use SSH.  Here is a good tutorial on YouTube.

*BEWARE* This is a very long video tutorial, but it is great for noobs.

3. Download link for Raspberry Pi - https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/

4. Here is a Linux terminal commands cheat sheet.  This will come in handy.

That's for now.  Have a great day.
